People serve their kids all kind of different foods, but one thing that all kids need is vegetables, more vegetables.
If you give them more of vegetables you will boost their bodies and their immune system. At the same time you will reduce the chances for eating too much of food that are less good.
Today l therefor share my top 4 tips on how to eat more vegetables in your life!:
Don`t underestimate the Friday dinner and the Mexican dish. If you add salad (or green cale), tomatoes, cucumber, avocado and some paprika your kids will get their amount of vegetables.
2: Green mixes:
Make them juices in a juicemachine with 2 carrots, 1 celery, a 1/4 of a apple and they will love it. Or you can put it in your smoothie machine and blend it instead with some water. It tastes fantastic!
3: Give them the vegetables they like
Make sure that you give them vegetables they like and sneak in some few vegetables they are not so fond of regulary. Make them eat them and drink it down with water if it`s too bad. The point is to make them tast it several times (and Yes, why not tell them that they will get some fruit or something else as a dessert if they eat their vegetables?).
(Most kids like carrots, but not cauliflower or broccoli. Serve carrots, but sneak the cauliflower and broccoli into the meal. And hopefully you can go even greener after a while, with less carrots).
4: Putt vegetables frequently on the table
Make it availble to the kids and to yourself. Put carrots, celery and cucumber on the table and let them eat that instead of fruit.
Some vegetables are better than nothing.
